Red face Mon Wed. Thur. lake Erling

Lake Erling is finaly on the fall gates are open water is stained from recent rains not including rain today have not been able to the catch more than 3 to 4 crappie per trip since the weekend graphs showing fish in 10 to 12 ft of water in old creek and slough runs have not fished the deeper water if the fish were crappie I could not make them bite my jigs I think I will give it rest for a few days (maybe not if the weather takes a sudden turn for the better).

I think I'm gonna start fishing out of a barrel. Less water to cover, and all I have to do is figure out how deep they are. Oh, and no 'spensive trolling motors with GPS gadgets to buy.

I only have one question... Should I put a stake bed in it or sink some tops instead?

In my professional opinion, one will work as well as the other.
