Sounds like it's the real deal. I still haven't got mine in the water yet but the install went good. Glad you got to try yours out.

I just love mine so far. It does what it's advertised to do. I think this is gonna' be almost as big as the side scanning innovations insomuch as how it'll impact the way we crappie fish. It'll be a big help spider riggin', sittin' on a brush top, long lining, slow trolling and just about anything in between. All of it's gonna' be impacted by this I-pilot. The remote is a little large to attach to your jig pole, but I guess you could iffn' you just had to. And no, I don't work for MK!:D :D

I really like mine, especially the cruise control. I hang my remote from the ring on my inflatable---works good. I've stowed my foot control.
when i told my wife about your trolling motor she won't to know why i did not buy that one that away she could be the back seat driver.john
What is the difference in an I Pilot and the auto pilot?
It's huge, James. The I-Pilot has a GPS in the head that does a lot for you. Cruise control, lock to one 5' radius spot, track/route repeat when programmed to do it and more. This thing has regular auto pilot and what MK calls "advanced auto pilot" that compensates for wind and current. There's just too much to mention here. Try MK's web site and look at what they're saying about it. It does it.![]()
no i waiting for warmer weather what web site did you buy the ram mounts. john
They gave a seminar yesterday at Grizzly. Lots of good info, sounds like a great addition. I can usually talk myself out of wanting some of the newer gadgets, but I have to admit this thing would be sweet. Vertically jiggin brushpiles or tops, just set it and forget it (at least that's how they made it sound)
Yeah I'm going to have to get one of those, sure seems like it'll make a big difference.
A bad day of fishing
beats a good day at work.
