    Lightbulb lake conway


    hello all im a bass fisherman trying to learn the paperlip secrets i fish lake conway mainly i know very little about the crappie there i went this past tuesday and got skunked it was windy so i had a hard time but any pointers for conway lake would be greatly app.

    I am also primarily a bass fisherman, but am very proficiant at crappie as well, i have said for many years if you are good at bass fishing, crappie fishing is a cinch. Go GOLD CREEK OR CANEY CREEK, fish minners, or fish jigs if they are hungry that day you will catch some. My favorite color of Jig is A white body/with dark blue skirting.
    You can't beat the taste of them ole fried SLABS N TATERS!!

    you know i wish i could say it was that easy for me but its not i have a hard time catching those paper lip lil buggers

    Fish with Jigs...Fish hard...And keep coming back....learn by experience.

    When they are in lockjaw mood try dead sticking,instead of jiging up and down or from side to side hold the jig as still as you can.To me dead sticking is boreing but can make a bad day into a good day.

    Personally, I always found that if the crappie aren't cooperating, you can always catch those pesky old bass.

    dont have any report for you guys but the ramp is open and clear of ice,salted.sure looks good out there i thinnk ill try it.
