I had a red ford truck let me go around him yesterday on Rocky Point Rd south of Vilonia. Nothing unusual other than he was going slow because his truck was loaded down with bamboo. I started to stop and ask him were he was gonna sink it at but I had someone waiting on me. I was wondering if it was anyone on here. If it was I was n a black Chevrolet and sorry I didn't say hi, I was n a hurry![]()

I dropped some myself yesterday near Piney Bay. It was my first time using cane and I was amazed at how slowly it sank, even with a 5 gal bucket full of Q-crete. It was on a pretty steep sloped bottom but when I passed over it, my graph showed the tops at 15' in 26 ft. of water. So it definately stands up.
It ain't nuttin but luck.
Piney Bay on dardanele? My papa use to fish up there, like 20-30 yrs ago.

Hey tark. When does the fishing get good up there in Piney Bay? And where exactly did you drop that boo? :D:D:D
My wife keeps saying I never listen to her....... or something like that!
Sorry I missed your post, I was busy fishing at Piney Bay, HE HE.
According to a friend that lives right on the bay, I messed around too late. Before the ice came he limited about everyday and he fishes everyday.
I put the bou just past that crooked cedar bush on the left side of the narrows. Hope this helps.
Forget Dardanelle Bay though, I went there yesterday and never saw any baitfish not one shad. Sux big time
