Does anyone fish Kate Adams down by Ark. City? I haven't fished there in 10 years. My grandpa lived in Ark. City just behind the levee. Some people know him as Herman, others know him as "Tap". Caught a lot of good bass, crappie, and cat outta there.
Da'Gum!!! That felt like a good'un, hand me a nother minn'r!

I was there in October for a Muzzleloader hunt. Talked to some local fishermen who said they caught some real slabs last spring. Was warned to watch out for the flying carp!![]()

I've fished it most all my life, but not as much as I used to. Back when you could fish in the willow timber it was much better in my opinion. There was several years when the dam between the river and pothole was blown out and the lakes were down low for a long period of time. During which the willows took over and about all that you can fish now is the edges or open water. I did pretty good over in the pothole last spring, but haven't done much in Kate in several years.
