When I visit ARK some guys catfishing use some kind of worm, but to me looks like a caterpillar of some kind that falls out of trees. What is that thing called, and what kind of trees does it live in? Thanx

its called catalpa worms and they come off of the catalpa tree.

That is a catalpa worm alright , back in the dust bowel days of oklahoma the government planted trees of all kinds all over OK. catalpas were one of them . there are a lot of those worms here. They also planted locust and bodark trees which I've been unfortunate enough to try and get rid of for 50 years mean thorny trees that you can't hardly kill.
