Lake Poinsett ice

I drove by the Lake this morning because I really wanted to get the boat wet this afternoon. Lake is covered with thin ice. I did not see any open water from either ramp. You would have to fish behind the boat in the boats tracks to get a hook in the water.

Maybe I will put the boat outside and in the rain to get it wet this afternoon.

Ice is gone.
So are the fish, I had nothing they wanted.
But it was still a good day to be out of the house and off work.
