Lake Erling?

Anyone doing anything on Lake Erling? Haven't seen a post on here about Lake Erling in quite some time. Just wondering if a trip would be worth the time and effort. God bless and thanks for any infomation.

I haven't heard anything on Erling, but I know a couple of very successful fisherman that have struck out twice in the last two week at Columbia.

Pastor I was up there just to ck the water level last Friday, talked with one man who had only one small one, saw another fisherman at the store today who usually catches them on a regular basis he fished 1 hr not a bump. I have not been up there to fish in over a week now, the last time only kept 4 and a friend said he only caught 4 that day. Some of the c.c members who live on the lake may have a better story to tell. From what I am reading it is slow every where. Your condos look good to me, hope your next trip is a productive one.

Hello pastor condos look good they need to be on Lake erling though ha. fishing has been slow on the lake but not stopped water is falling fast and fish have been changing locations but should settle down soon managed 12 sat. in 10 & 11 ft water they were on the small side did not fish mon. snow sticking to glasses will fish today tues after lunch hope to have a limit to report tonight if not oh well I will keep trying .

Fished from 12 to 4 tuesday afternoon had 17 keepers caught all in walkers creek about 12 ft of water all were medium fish no slabs was not to cold on lake but hands are still froze from fileting fish at cleaning table caught fish on chartruse and pink jig about 11ft deep.

Kept 15 wednesday had a few nice fish all caught same as before windy today will sit it out have doctors appt. tomorrow will probably not fish again before next monday water level is at pool level and gates are still closed not many fishermen on lake it might be the COLD ha ha all were having about the same luck as myself all were expecting improvement in size and number at any time.

I have a few friends that have been loading the livewell @ Blackwells and Walker's Creek. I've been duck hunting and will start back fishing in Feburary.

Thanks for the info noslab. I probably won't get to fish until one day next week. Need to sink my condos.
