Ice on Conway?

Is the lake still iced over? i broke a bone n my hand today while drilling holes n plywood @ work. I broke my right hand and im left handed so I think I can still run my motor and jig with my good hand. The more I sit idle the more it throbs. It was a dumb mistake on my part, 2 big of a hurry. Im thinking if i am real easy I might could still fish 2morrow. I sure dont want to hurt it anymore. As of right now I dont even now if I can go or where I would go.


1 more thing, typing 1 handed is a challenge!:D

Sorry to hear that Hope you get well soon. I was also thinking of going to Conway. Got a report that the ice was about 2" thick at pearce creek. Anyone else hear anything?

Conway still has lots of ice, but its thin ice, a boat should break it quite easily, fishing tomorrow aint impossible, the pond is thawed out, on the local news tonight they were showing the number of pelicans and gulls that were there. Guess what, their back, thicker than ever, if you could see my boat from the last time I went up there you would want to stay away. I got a good suggestion, to anyone going up there wear rain gear, you will get messed on.if you know what I mean.

the ice has thawed for the most part here.the creek was froze even today.but a couple of guys pushed on through it couple of hours ago now you can get to the pool.lots of shad died off.that ought to help,and the pelicans eat 4lbs a day.the pelicans seemmed to move on since the ice.some 50 or so were on the flat yesterday but moved out-none inthe pool.will hoefully have a good report from the first guys in the pool-will know later.havent seen any fish since the ice.

that boat left out just now had caught 4 nice ones right off then shut off.got 2 other boats headed for the pool.good sign to see at least 4 fish better than it had been

yeah 1 boat caught 5 the other caught 12 keepers,no one else came here sprinkling since noon

its heating up at gold creek again saw 1 real nice limit culled out with some 2lbers.3 other guys caught more than a dozen each.jigs is what they want guess their finally tired of those stinking shad.had about 8-10 boats here today,yall come on and get some!
