O.K. guys, I'm trying to get an idea of how many of us are fishing in the tournament come the end of March on Lake Conway. I know of about 5 teams so far locally and a whole bunch of out of towner's (30 or so teams)! I would love to have at least 40-45 teams from Arkansas representing our home state and would like it even more if one of us locals were to win it!
Please respond if you are thinking of fishing the tournament. Remember you have to be registered and paid up by the end of February. 100% payback and lots of other prizes to be given away during the tournament.
There is a lot to be learned during these tournaments and a lot of Pro's will be there. They are really good about sharing information on tips, tricks and techniques as well.
I have fished with a bunch of you or right next to you and believe me, all of you have a very good chance of winning this thing and qualifying for the National's. Great opportunity!!!!!!!!

Thanks LRJoe1, I've seen your reports before and you have an outstanding chance in this thing. Let me know if you can't find a partner as several have PM'd me with the same problem.
If we can get enough interest, maybe we can organize a fish and meet prior to the tournament windows so several of us can meet and who knows, maybe a partner will emerge from it?

Slick, I may take you up on it. I am a little shy of the one pole thing. I mostly spider rig, and the one pole thing is a little bit of a different thing for me.
I may also be a little lost without my rosie reds.

I can do without the roseys but the 1 pole thing get me. Love to spider-rig and long line troll.

My Father and I will be fishing in the One pole tourney, we are both from Conway but rarely fish Lake Conway, we fish both of the national tournament trails and are glad to see a tourney back in Arkansas.

Jason - We have worked really hard to bring this one to Arkansas and I think it will be a great one that will establish itself in the state for years to come.
Joe/Slick - You two seem to have all of the tools to make a great team. The rosies are out but you can still long line and troll but with just one pole! I am like you, I prefer to spider rig most of the time on most lakes, but being in March on Conway, I think the action will be fast and furious!
