Default Merry Christmas All/Monticello DEC Deer Hunt

Welp with the waining moments of deer gun season upon me, and not getting a shot at the buck of my dreams this year. It was a great season indeed. I got to see my daughter get the buck of her life so far, I got to walk though and observe the wonderful wilderness and wildlife of the Ozarks Mnts. I have seen countless deer and scoped several. Then a call from my buddy came, who invited me down to hunt his 350 acer track near Monticello Ar. He advised me the deer was thick as the deer lice on them:D. He wanted his deer population reduced so I decided to drive down and help him out:D and put some meat in the freezer. Guys let me tell ya The area around Monticello AR is loaded with deer. I also saw my only trophy buck during this hunt, in which an ole blue tick hound jumped out in the shooting lane and scared off the buck I was about to put the crosshairs on. Now after that buck was scared off, a quick thought of putting my crosshairs on a different animal in my shooting lane came to mind. As I looked at that blue tick hound and he looked back at me, I thought to myself he was only doing, the same thing I was trying to do (And that was Hunt). I thought how much we had in common at that moment. And I simply enjoyed watching him work the woods for me during a cold evening in the wilderness near Monticello Arkansas. Now it's time to get back to what I really love to do best and thats...(Heck you all know what that is I love this State. Merry Christmas to all and God Bless.
