Fished a bass tournament with my uncle today on greers. BRRR!! We did not catch a fish. I new they were draining the lake but could not believe how far it has gone down since I was there last 2 weeks ago. The water temps were in the low 50s. I like fishing with my unc because he fishes a lot of water and has real good graphs, so I learn a lot. Also I wouldn't have been able to stay on the lake with my duracraft. We heard the boat that won it had 5 smallmouths that went over 16 lbs total. Does anyone know how far they are gonna pull the lake down? Found a couple spots that look like they needed a minnow or jigged dipped in there.
nothing beats time on the water

KJV Numbers 32:23 " be sure your sin will find you out."
According to the graphs, the level is at 465.35 now and normal is 461.3. So I would guese they will at least take it down 4 more feet. Sometimes they will drop it a foot or two below normal level. Do not remember exactly what the high mark was, but I think somewhere in the 10 to 12 FAN area. Once it settles down from the drop, fishing should pick up, if you can stand the cold weather. Everyone have a MERRY CHRISTMAS. I THINK OLD BM IS IN FOR THE WINTER.
If the good Lord is willing and the creeks dont rise I'll catch a slab today.
You are probably 100% correct Slick, especially if the temp raised up just a notch or two. It is amazing how much a good string of Crappie will raise your blood pressure. Have a Merry Christmas and stay warm....bm
