Default Nov. 28, 2009 in the pool

I got launched from Dan's at about 8:00AM. I made a bee line to the pool. I spider rigged around for a good hour and a half. There were not many folks there, but the ones that were there were quite territorial. Seemed they were all fishing along the edges and casting bobbers to the weeds and the bank.

Water temp was 50 and sky was clear. No wind until 11, then it started blowing from the south 10-15 and gusting to 20. I tried tossing a minner tipped jig under a float. Got a little orange colored bass looking thing. I guess it was a rock bass. Little blue streaks on his cheeks. Nice little fighter, but small.

I moved off to the creek and tried up and down there. Broke for lunch and tried again. Three fish. Two stripers, one rock bass.

Even my honey hole let me down. Bleh.
Quit complaining about the color, just pull up your skirt and fish! -- snagged

It was tough at Greers today also. Caught 4 before the wind started howling.
