Washington crappie 11/15/09

Went today and cleaned 26 fish. 6 of the nicest crappie totaled 12+ pounds, a good average. The best was 2-8 and 16-1/2 inches. Big Mama!! She would'a topped 3 lbs next spring. The remainder were nice crappie. Most were 13-14" with several 15"+ crappie. Caught 'em spider riggin' on brown/char and red/char tube jigs in 14 FOW about 10' deep pushing .6 -.8 MPH on my GPS. Had 20 or so throw backs and hooked and missed several more really nice fish. These pics are from my phone and aren't all that good but they're in the freezer and cooker now.

Good seeing and visiting with you again. We ended up with 67 for two days fishing. Fish quit when the wind picked up Sat. Had some nice fish, and had a bunch of throw backs.

Great job Bill! I can't wait to get back over to Washington. I am working on my limit of deer at the moment....I'm halfway there with a seven-point and a doe. Save some crappie for the rest of us!
