    Default Northeast Arkansas Fisheries

Well, I'm leaving the Southeast Arkansas fisheries to head to Northeast Arkansas. I enjoyed talking to everyone that fished the SE part of the state. I am looking forward to meeting and working with the anglers in the NE part of the state to try to improve the fisheries in that area.

If you have any questions, I will try to answer them for you.

    Default Good luck, Mojorig...

..on your career move. Look up ceb up there in Jonesboro. He is a fine young man. (Maybe you already know him.)

I now know who you are because of your presentation at the silver carp meeting in Lake Village recently. You folks did a nice job. Thanks. I was an out of state guest. Ray

Shouldn't be hard to show progress in this part of the state.

We need all the help we can get. That is the crappie fishing. Trout and green carp get all the attention up here.

Good Luck to you Jeremy! Have enjoyed having you involved with the crappie fishing in this part of the state. (Even though your heart is with the "Green Carp"! :D )

I sure hope you can come to Cent. AR to give us some help on our big waters. Resivor fishing is unlike anything anywhere. Deep, cold, unpredictable. I have been fishing for walleye this summer. Just gave up on crappie, but the walleye fishery on Bull Shoals is getting better all the time and they aren't nearly so hard to locate.

Hey, Don, on three different trips this summer on Bull, I managed to catch over 40 bluegills that all measured over 8-9 inches. Caught a lot of yellow perch and green carp too. But, if it ever dries out, I'm covering the ole boat for the winter. Nice to be able to fish again, but, I may be looking at hip replacement before winter is over. If I have to be laid up, winter is the time. Heading over to Rogers on Sunday for the dedication of my newest grandaughter. Got 6 grandkids now, 3 of each. Sorry I don't get back here often but I do think about you guys all the time, and remember the chozen frozen on Lake Conway. Nightstalk rules!!! Tight lines. Dave
