Gold Creek/10-11-09/Deer Mounts/Daughter's Doe

Fished Gold Creek yesterday from 8:30Am-2:00PM brought 12 home with some decent fish. There is some barn doors in the pads if you can get em to bite. I know cos i watched two of em get off yesterday. Had to really move slow to get bit. Bites were not aggressive as fish were very pressured by allot of fisherman in the creek Sun. Got my mounts back from last year. Me and my daughter killed three deer in three consecutive hunts in the Ozark mountians last year. I know you might not believe this but i really did try my best to set up my daughter where i thought the bucks would come through but these two just wanted to come my way no matter what did. And she was proud to get that doe anyway. Let me tell ya that lil girl gets her share of deer to include killing two in one day. Man I got to stop this crappie fishing to get in the deer woods. I love to hunt those deer almost as much as i love crappie fishing. Going back to Gold Creek at day light today and fish all day this time. Ill let you know how it goes.
