    Default Fall fishing in Ar

Which is the best way to crappie fish in the fall , when the water temps cool down. spider rigging, fast trolling, jigging tops, ect. I fish most of the time in se ar. I have been catching fish trolling through the summer, whats the best to try now?

I intend to hone some spider rigging methods this year. I would suggest that they will probably be in skinnier water. But, I dont' think that is the case this year. Jerry and Darryl said they never did really get into a Summer pattern on Greeson this year. It might be that they are in the same place you already have been fishing this Fall.

For me it's Creeks, Creeks, and more Creeks in the fall. Fish the creeks leading into the lakes or main river and verticle jigging or slip bobber minnows around vegatation stumps, laydowns, logs, and brush you find. If you see allot of shad flipping around in the creeks it's time to really get excited because there will be crappie around. Hope this helps.

I am going to keep pulling cranks for another 3-4 weeks with some spider-rigging thrown in.
