When I used to bass fish I called them peacock bass b/c of the spot on the tail.Sorry the picture wasn't any better, holding with one hand and trying to take a picture of a P O'd cypress trout wasn't easy.
He pulled line off the reel so fast it smoked a little, caught several Drum judging from 3lb to 6lb.Had alot of fun today catching rough fish, rough fish was in the crappie holes today.Friday bass was in most of the crappie spots I fish,3 to 5 bass in each tree tops and brush piles. The rough fish bent and torn alot 1/32 jigs and plastic up today but they never broke the 10/2 braid.
