Default Back From Out West/Lake Conway

Been out west for about three weeks now, good to be back home did some great trout fishing in Cheyanne WY caught about 30 in two days with the Family. Hit lake Conway this past week, let me tell ya Black Crappie scattered everywhere. Fished the 89 bridge area and trees and dam area in Mayflower. Caught these on electric chicken, white and Chart tubes, pink minnows with a slip bobber. Not monsters but plenty of 10-13 inch fish. I am having problems locating the bigger fish right now, but when i find em ill let you all know Wont be long till they hit the creeks. Good to be back home.

    Welcome Back CP!

And looks like a mess too! By the way, how old, male or female, is your hound dog. I have a 10 month old wiener dog and she rides on the console with her pillow too.

I showed your pic of your dog to my wife and now she doesn't think crappie fisheman aren't as strange or obsessed as she thought.

Yes, I get much grief from the ol' lady about my obsession with Crappie fishing.

SS She is a lil over a year old minature wiener, i also have a full size darker color wiener. I soon will have another one out of the litter she has when she is bread. I love these lil dogs they love to go fishing, easy to train and would recommend one to anybody looking for a good house dog and boat buddy. Hope to see ya up in Gold Creek with me tearing em up soon

Hey Fetmo ya those pics were taken at the Curt Gowdy State Park, Lakes Granite and Crystal Lake, beautiful lakes full of trout. I am in a small river like cove on Granite lake in the pic we got there by boat. Maybe you heard of it while you were stationed at FE Warren?
