Lake Erling drawdown

Lake Erling gates will open Oct. 1 drawdown will be 5 ft initially and more if decided necessary later.
Had 15 crappie today caught them all late in 6 ft water about 2 ft deep jigs were used.

I have been wondering if they were going to draw it down this year. The fish you caught were they good one or just so-so?

After the drawdown is complete will I be able to launch my boat at the park boat ramp or will the lake be too low for a safe launch?

The fish caught were so so 3/4 to 1 lb the park ramp should still be usable at the initial drawdown level although the north side of ramp (Right hand side facing lake) should not be used washed out south side (left hand side facing lake) was serviceable.
