    Default Nimrod Crappie

The size is improving this week. Sorry no pics today. I kept a limit of nice Crappie and a small Flathead on jigs in about 4 to 5' of water. I fished from about 10.30 am till almost 1.00 . They are on Brushpiles.

What's the average size you're catching now? We're catching 10"-13&1/2" crappie on Degray.

    Todays Crappie

    9 were 10 to 11''
    5 were 11+ to 12''
    6 were 12+ to 13.5''

No slabs today, we catch an occasional 15+'' fish. Hopefully the slabs will pick up soon.

Sounds like we're catching the same size fish, even if it is different lakes. Wonder where the big ones are? Deeper? Open water? Shallower? Hibernating? :D
