Default Well...the Lord was willin' but the creek was risin'

went down to the felsenthal this mornin'...wasn't expecting to do much and when i layed eyes on that ole saline river, i knew i wasn't...it was on the war horse for sure...went ahead and launched anyway and fished some bays and kick backs out of the current....somehow, i ended up catchin 9-10 fish and 7 really nice keepers in about 5 hours and didn't get rained on which was also a surprise...when i got back to the ramp, the river had risen 1.5' while i was there...it was just nice to get out of the house and go to one of my favorite places of all time...saw several deer and a long beard turkey....got my time on the water...all is right with the world

You did great! BTW, the water is risin' EVERYWHERE... Ouachita is up to normal pool now having risen 5 feet> Nimrod is up over 10 feet! Greeson, DeGray, Oh yeah. Up, up, up.

It should be good next week, Lord willin' :D

I was gonna call in sick next week, but I just remembered I'm out of sick days. So I'm gonna call in dead instead and go fishing!:D
