If you like the outdoors you will, eventually. Its certainly worth the drive for the fishing. The scenery isn't all that in some areas, but wow, the fishing is like heaven. I mean, it sucks... stay away... don't go there. Mean people and its hot... and flat.

Welcome to AR Cowboy. I'd take you but I have to get my little rig fixed up and I'm gonna stay in the local area until I'm good and confident in her again.

LOL, that should only take about 6 months. That is one long lake with lots of fun places to explore and fish.

When you start seeing those 3 and 4 lb slabs coming from Cane Creek, I am sure we will seeing you around LA...

Hey I've caught a few of those hogs at Old Town I think is the name of that lake just south of Helena.
That lake has a lot of black crappie, and you know they get bigger than the white crappie that I'm use to. It will sure ruin a man quick...lol.
I can't wait til it get's cooler, I love fall and winter fishing best.
Thanks guys for the welcome, and I might just be hollaring at yall soon, so get your long handles out and ready.

Welcome from Nimrod Lake. We are flooded out and maybe poor fishing for awhile here. Water is about 20' above normal and still rising!
