    Default Trailer Swing Tongue

    Looking for some suggestions folks.

I'm wanting to install a swing tongue on my boat trailer so I can store my boat and trailer in my garage without having to cut a hole in my garage door. :D

I've searched online and know I can buy one that will fit my trailer. Since it appears the installation will involve welding, I wouldn't be able to do it myself.

Does anyone have someone they would recommend in or near central Arkansas who could install one of these for me? Reasonable pricing would be a big plus.

    Thanks for your help.

you might want to check and make sure that your insurance will still be good when you modify the trailer in case something happens

Fulton makes a bolt on model that will fit most boat trailers.

I knocked the skag off of my lower unit a few years ago. John's Welding Service in Sherwood did a fine job replacing it.

I didn't get to know him very well. But, if I tore something up again, i would give him another call.

Any Welding shop can do this for you. Theres a bunch around here and that is what they did. They bought the parts took it to there local welding shop and they did the repairs. Then make sure it has good primer and paint on it.

In that case, I would use TJC Welding. Number is in the book. Go by and ask for Chris. He was an old roomate of mine in Jonesboro. They do fantastic work, and they are very well priced.

I got sick of having a wood transom on the back and he put me a metal one on for about $50.

Thanks to everyone who replied. I now have some ideas about places to seek out and persons to contact. Now I guess its up to me to decide which way to go.
