    Default Cypress Lake 8-22-09

    Hey guys and gals, if you live close enough to Benton LA, you might be interested in checking out Cypress Lake. I went Thursday and caught 16 crappie and 3 bream fishing 10 feet deep in 12-14 FOW. Went back Saturday and caught 16 crappie, 2 bream, and 1 bass at the same depth as Thursday. I caught them on electric red/chartreuse and electric green/ chartreuse Thursday and on electric red/chartreuse on Saturday. Here is a picture of the ones my wife and I caught Saturday. No hogs, but I have only fished Cypress 2 times and don't know what constitutes a GOOD fish there. Anyway, I had some real pretty fillets and plan on boiling some of them in some oil real soon. Praise the Lord! For His mercy and love endures forever.
