If you follow my posts I fish the same lake 95 per cent of the time. I go by that handle.;) The Crappie were in Stakebeds and around Stumps 5 to 8' water. The Cats were a little deeper around Pallet beds where I bait them in. Not unusal for us to limit out one one or the other. Seldom fish for both in the same trip.:D

thats just about makes me want to put up the bow but still seeing lots of deer just nothing real big yet. Seen a nice 6 pointer about 150# but not in range. might take rifle some this week, my son got this kick about bow hunting he gives me a hard time

Nimrod I'm glad the Lake level has finally gotten back down to where the crappie are biting. That had to be a great day. Any news on Slabbandit's Dad?
