I may be in the minority here but it doesn't seem right to throw that much "stuff" into a lake.

Game and fish used to put out pallets out all the time. No different than a tree. Won't hurt the lake at all.

Why not? The natural wood cover is being lost in older lakes. The fish need cover. Try deer hunting in a mud flat, Crappie are no different. Fish and Game need cover to do good. Sure glad most folks don't think like you do. Some of our older lakes would be nothing more than a mud bottomed desert.

I reported recently about fishing Nimrod by pulling Bandits. We could almost always count on a strike when we pulled over a brush pile on the old river bank. I am a beleaver; good job CA. But, I am glad you know how to sink them. I just put one in Conway. I finally tied it to a tree after a couple of trips to the bank for rocks. Crappiepro has probably relocated it for me.
