I built a stake bed out of scrap lumber. I put a bag of cement in a bucket and to my surprise it would not sink. So, I "borrowed" some rip rap and tied about another 30 lbs to it. That got it under the water but, not on the bottom. So Russ, I am sure you may find it. I tied it to a tree so it would get waterlogged and eventually sink. It is a lot of work to add weight once they are in the water.

Thanks Don i will look for it, think i am going to take a saw and sink some branches today, as well as fish today also. Got a report from Stubby that he tried the trees last Sat and did not fair well. This hot weather may have shut em down for awhile but ill let you know, how i do today. The days I caught em were allot cooler that right now. I am going to fish daylight to about noon take a break and then try from about 5PM to dark. Also picked up some minnows to try the deep water in gold pond. Will see...:)

if yall want some 4ft square pallets let me know, i can probably pick some up
