Dang i wished i lived closer, one heck of a catch. guess its on the Miss side at tunica? Is it and Oxbow off the Miss River? How big of a lake is it? CP
That's the right way to load a cooler....way to go.
That's definitely a mess o' fish. Sure is good to see someone getting into them like that these days. Way to go and thanks for sharing.
I only wish I could catch that much fish in one outing. My wife makes fun of me for fishing so much and not coming home with many or just a few.......she kids me when I take a guided trip saying I have to pay someone to take me fishin so I would catch them......
Grrr... I was out most of today trolling, fishing under bobbers, and cussing but had a great time. I caught a small large mouth and two nice cat fish. No bream and no crappie. I couldn't find them at all. My fish finder kept showing a sign that said "Vacancy".
I guess I know what happened to them all. They swam down the Arkansas River and up the Big Muddy.
Congrats on the fish. My only consolation is... Now you have to clean them!:D
Nice mess,congrats.
 Nice catch, been hearing some oxbows heating up with water levels falling.
Nothing to it. Just got up at 2 AM, put the gear in the truck, drove 10 miles to pick up a friend who had stayed up til then drinking and backed out, drove back and picked up 1 who was ready but broke, stopped at convenience store for grub and drinks(Not counting what I had gotten the night before),put 60 dollars gas in truck and boat, drove 106 miles to the lake through some of the seediest parts of Memphis, paid the man 5 bucks and put in the boat, made a 30 minute run to a likely spot, fished all day out of the side of the boat without the trolling motor so I had to scull in a good wind with a heavy boat, kept jig poles filled with jigs and 2 bottles of nibbles(partner broke tip on 1 B&M, swarmed line on another), fished 4-5 hours, 30 minute trip back to landing, load boat, drive back home(stopping at Krystal for lunch on my dime), dropped off friend who naturally wanted half the fish and picked out the biggest ones in his half, went home unloaded boat and gear, filleted 47 crappie and 3 white bass, buried scraps, cleaned cooler, washed and bagged filets and put them up in the freezer. i am sure I left out a few things.
Just another relaxing day on the lake. Wish i could go again today!!
Where is the Scrubgrass you mentioned?
