On the water at Peckerwood this morning at 6:30am with brother. Between us we caught 26 and about 10 we lostcause we didn't have a net. Brother caught one so large it broke his line and still has the jig in his mouth. Every now and then it would surface to try to spit out the jig.
We stayed out there until 12:00pm. If we had stayed there longer we would've caught out limits with MONSTER crappie!
I will be out there again Sunday morning from 5:00am until 12:00pm again for more action, and more Crappie!
I'll be in a Bass Tracker Pro 17 with my handle on the hull, stop by and let's fish!
CRAPHEAD, you are missing out buddy!
We split our catches and here a few I kept:

5'-6' FOW, 1/16oz chart w/glitter roadrunner. Let it drop all the way to the bottom, reel up 6 inches and jig up about 6" vertically. They hit on the drop!
Our most productive location was in the middle of the lake between Herman Landing and Red Barn. Use your electronics to locate underwater cover and work it over good - we just trolled around the cover in circles and WHAM! A HAWG!
Be very careful - I must of hit 5 stumps motoring out there.
SS.....I really don't wanna get out in all this heat but your givin' me tha fever!!:D
Durn. Saw it a day late.
Those are nice fish. What water were you on?
Now you didn't have to go and show me that plate of fine fixin's there now did you??? lol
