Email from Entergy concerning boating accidents
I received this e-mail from Entergy today.
ALERT:
According to the Arkansas Game & Fish Commission, "Escalating boating accidents spur concern, caution among boaters. Warm weather plus a glittering expanse of water spark boating excursions, but tragedy can invade even the most polished of plans. To date, 12 fatalities have resulted from boating accidents in 2009, a spike considering last year’s 14 total fatalities". Your friends at Entergy Arkansas Inc. reminds all boating to be careful while boating. Keep alert to other boaters, swimmers, shallow water and floating debris. Remember that alcohol and water don't mix. Also always wear your life jacket. They float you don't. Remember that the water immediately below dams can be extremely dangerous. Water levels may change without notice. Strong currents and turbulence water occur in these areas. Finally obey all boating laws and again buckle up and wear that life jacket!
