These are the pics of David's LM Crappie caught Saturday morning on L. Monticello. We finally got around to cleaning them today. They were all real nice specks.....the cleaning table they are on is 36 in square. That is a picture of Atticus (my 3 1/2 yr-old grandson) holding one of the big ones!

That's a fine mess of fish Steve. Couple of comments...First.. Is David giving you a share of those CLEANED crappie in exchange for you setting him up in a new boat (to him)? :D:D And second...Atticus has NO GLOVES on???:D:D 'At dere boy gowinea be a serious crappie fisherman! But that's good going!
Atticus doesn't need gloves, Bill. He'll just dive right in and grab one up! He already claims to be my main fishing buddy and I can already tell he is going to be a good one! You can't see David's hands but yea, he is wearing gloves. Did you notice how poor those fish were? One of them was so thin he looked like a razor blade with eyeballs! The spawn was really hard on them.

Some nice fish Steve, how deep are they now. Thanks for the report and pics.
A bad day of fishing
beats a good day at work.

Slick, How'd you catch 'em down there on Monticello?
That Monticello is one beautiful lake. Fishin' around the old house place is just something special. Each time I fish there, my mind drifts back to the memories that somebody made there.
A bit far for me to go these days, but a beautiful lake nonetheless.
