Default Silver or Asian (jumping) carp

We were fishing our favorite Black River lake, and these fish from hell were there. I didn't even know they were in White River much less Black River, but they were there today in this lake off Black River. Everything I've been hearing is they're to the crappie and game fish like the Mongols or Huns were to people, not to mention the danger of injury to people they present.

How far up black river are they??

Haven't seen any in any of the oxbows from Lynn to Knobel yet.

Seen some on the oxbows below newport last year, well it wasn't really a oxbow but a lake where they got the dirt to build old hwy 67.It like to have scared the crap out of me,I could have kissed its @ss as it went flying by.It looked to wt. 3 or 4 lb. and I told my fishing partner that sucker could blood a guys nose pretty bad or nock you out of the boat.
Maybe the snakeheads will like flying fish better than bream, bass and crappie, hopefully.

dang a 25-40 pound fish flopping around in the boat wouldn't be funny, turning over tackle boxes, breaking rods, turning your soda over, nids flying everywhere.I had whether him break my jaw as to break a rod and make a mess in the boat..will maybe not.

They've made it up the White to Batesville. I've been watching the snaggers out my office window, and they have hooked some big silver carp---I mean two handed jobs. Doesn't bode well for the future.
