I had a hard time keeping my concentration when I hunted that bottom and I used to hunt it a lot. It's my favorite place in the world. There was always a bear, a black squirrel, a mink, an otter, or ducks and geese to take my mind off of what I should have been concentrating on. Before they started cutting the timber, you could see a mile through big timber with a carpet of swamp grass. Before they started hunting the deer you might see fifty on a morning squirrel hunt. I never came home without good memories . Good deer, hope you can pull it off for your misses.

good deer Kent, killed my first buck at the age of 14 on White River Refuge, lots of good memories made there!!!! congrats!!
