Whose ready for football?

WOW, what a game tonight! My son's Hornets 26-Bearden Bears 22! Kids cramping up and dropping like flies in the second half. No injuries, just hot and tired. Bears played really hard, but the Hornet front line (with my son, big center #51) wore them down and road grated the way and ground out three big first downs to eat up the last 4 minutes of the game. BIG rivalry game WIN tonight. Proud of my boys. GTT

I'm all about some football. I played at Glen Rose through 07, now I'm an assistant coach at Barton.

Y'all probably got us. We went through a few lean years around here back then. The '98 class produced Corey Williams, who went on to play in the NFL for the Packers, Browns, and Lions. There were some good teams after him, but things got rough after about '02. Football came back and got really good about 4 years ago. We got within a half of playing in Little Rock, but we let Rivercrest come back and beat us with less than a minute to go. Heartbreaker!

My son's team travels to Gurdon tomorrow night for a matchup with the Go Devils. Harmony Grove has not played Gurdon in years so we know nothing about them. Hope the weatherman is good to us as the Hornets take to the road. GTT

Just got home. Came up short tonight 22-18. Our kids played a good game, though. Congrats to the Gurdon Go-Devils tonight. Disappointed, but lots more football to play. GTT

Yeah, we were pretty good. We beath Shiloh in the State Championship by 1 point in OT on a two point conversion.

Now that's something you'll never forget. I'll bet that was one intense 2 point conversion! We went 0 for 3 on our's last night or we could have won. Those conversions are BIG. Congrats to you, crimmer. GTT
