I agree with most of what you wrote but there's nothing wrong with Joel Olsteen's message. I think he's a truly inspirational speaker. IMHO But to each his own.

I see where cracker barrel has apologized for offending so many customers that now after futher assessment they are bringing duck dynasty back into their stores!!! Well I say to them that they wont have my business!!!

Supposedly, A&E has changed their mind as well. What I can't figure out was this the real deal or a publicity stunt? Did Cracker Barrel jump on board to get free advertisement knowing that in a few days, they would "change their mind". We may never know.

As of right now, I'm banning my Washingtons from visiting Cracker Barrel.

Wonder what there was to change their mind about? Do they now agree with Phil or are they just after the money?
all a stunt for publicity, not saying Phil was in on it but the interviewer knew the answer to the question before he asked and what A&Es response would be to the answer. Sick of media period.

Well said Roughneck. I have watched Osteen only a few times. But, I have never seen him crack a Bible. Even in my own church where we have a senior pastor and several underlings, you can't get an opinion out of none of them. All of them are so afraid of offending or starting a hulabalew. I guess we are supposed to "nice" people into having concerns for their own souls.
