When starting new structure bamboo or cedars does it take awhile to get them started on it?
I've got some I've dumped that have never had a fish and also have some that the fish get on almost immediately. I guess it is all about where you drop. I've got a 1/2 dozen pvc buckets that I've only caught fish off of one time, but that one time, it seemed was the only place they were really stacked on. I sure ain't got it figured out. Now, instead of dropping blind. I try to supplement known fish producing areas.
Your original pic looks like a single pole place to me. [emoji12]

Merry Christmas Gewber!!! [emoji4]
It was a single pole when I started so I dropped that. Every couple days, I would go drop a bamboo stick and the crappie would tie it together themselves. The last pic is what they had created when I stopped sending them building material:Rofl
Merry Christmas to you, you boat selling, fish catching, grand kid loving, gewber.:santa
Have had fish marked on dropped "C" trees in March almost before they came to rest...on the 2cnd pass to orientate and then add more cover the fish alarm sounded like a malfunctioning alarm clock...
