One MAJOR piece of advice. After you finish a bag, move it down a 1/2 inch and SEAL IT AGAIN. THEN AGAIN THE THIRD TIME.
If you use the moisture sealer, and if you triple seal it, I guarantee it won't come apart in the freezer. What causes that is moisture inside the sealed part.
As for models, I have burned up 2 "Walmart" food saver brands. I got a fancy Cabela's and it sits in the shop because I found another Walmart type Cheapo Food Saver at my MIL's house after she died, and this one won't stop working. So I don't know which one to recommend. I use it for all fish and all deer though, and I'd never consider freezing meat any other way.
