I worked my a$$ off for these photos! After checking 6 different spots that typically produce this time of year, I got the ole skunk out of the boat on the last spot! I should've taken more pics because I caught other worthy fish but I tried. I reckon I ran probably 5-6 miles chasing these rascals down.

same for me this year on my lake seams like they are running behind for normal areas
fished 6 hours covered prolly 6 miles looked at hundreds of beds nothing cleaned out yet . caught hundreds of small 6-7” gills in the bedding areas but only 4 good crackers .

Catching good gills like those are always worth the time spent chasing them ... good pictures and post
