    Default Micro Jigs

I was tying a few silicone legged jigs this morning.
I dug out some lead heads and tied a couple for comparison.

    From top to bottom.
1/64 size 8 Original Sickle hook
1/32 size 8 Eagle Claw Lil Nasty
.5g 4mm Tungsten size 10 EC Lil Nasty
.5g 4mm Tungsten size 14 Mustad Ultrapoint streamer hook with micro barb
    A 1/64oz jig is around .45g , a 1/32 , around .88g

The bottom two are what I call micro jigs .
The bottom one , but with a rabbit fur tail , is my number one favorite.

It was interesting to blow up the picture and check out the differences in the points and barbs of the hooks . I see why the size 10 lil nasty seems sharper than the size 8 . And why the original Sickles were so popular.
And the point on the Mustad Ultrapoint , awesome

    Just thought I’d share

They catch everything, every size . When I go fishing, I want to catch “something” doesn’t matter what size .
