Nice catches and outfits ! Oh, and welcome to the forum !
welcome to the forum , yep , it befuddles me to see folks hammer the water all day after a just few bites , got some bass folks that visit a spot I hit all the time and I can count what they ketch on one hand in 2 or 3 weeks .
there is something about it though that keeps them pitching them big baits ....no clue here ...:dono
lots of bites makes me happy , I like to ketch crappie , but all fish are welcome to bite my jigs ....:Rofl:highfive
Welcome from Central Florida, I’m looking forward to your posts. That’s a good mix of fish and I’ll take stripers that size on my little rods anytime.
Welcome to the forum. Nice tackle and catch. I haven't been here too long myself. Great bunch of folks on here.
X2, Skeet, on the striped bass and ultralight combo! I remember back when Lake Mead water was full (AKA hiking distance was closer..lol), 1 to 2 pound striped bass were the norm. Of course I didn't have UL rod, but a few medium to medium heavy. I've recently revisited my old spot to find out they've built a brand new dock. I can't wait to catch a few good size when some these guys grow up. Again welcome to CDC!Attachment 470472
