Bout the only time I use anything in the 5’ range is when I’m fishing mountain trout streams. I just have gotten so used to the 6’6” rod length or so. That’s a cool looking rod and if I were to ever get a travel rod it would likely be in the 5’ range so I could toss it in a backpack and hike to some remote high elevation streams to target brook trout.
