Thank you all for the congrats and I like to point out if anything that steers me toward the Triumph is how light and balance it feels in the hand. After see several YouTube reviews I’ve decided it’s worth its price in gold even though it’s not in the same league as Legend Elite or come with a 15 years warranty. It’s very different feel to let say a JDM Tict or the Abu Eradicator is enough for me to want to give it a go. One never knows, maybe the very rod I was craving for the whole time was just under my nose the entire time on this side of the pond. Cheers!

I’ve yet to put my finger on it exactly, but I will always have a St Croix alongside my JDM rods. They are so durable, comfortable, and pleasant to fish.
St Croix used to have their Triumph rods made in China .
They decided to build a manufacturing plant in Mexico that mirrors the one here in the USA .
The Triumph , Panfish, and Trout Series as well as other St Croix models are built in their factory in Mexico.
That sums it up for me, thanks Gillchaser! I read it somewhere someone mentioned 2020 Triumph using yesteryears Avid SCii blanks, while the new Avid (which is $60) more using the IMPROVED SCiii blanks and is designed and built here in Park Falls, US. I took a chance because I feel the blank is not justifiable enough for the extra $$ when it's only .1 oz lighter. Maybe because it's the 15 year warranty verses 5?
