This ain't your old fiberglass rod either...LOL. First full glass rod I have owned in decades. At 4' 10" will work out very well on streams. It is soft in the tip but gets to the meat of the rod in a hurry...Major Craft says it is a regular fast. I would agree with that. The rod has 8 guides...Fuji stainless frames with sic-s inserts. The weight is 76 grams. Stocker trout will be a lot of fun with this rod but no doubt it can handle larger trout as well. Will try it out tomorrow morning. Life is good!

That is very true. The higher end fiberglass rods were really nice to fish. I have an old Orvis Fullflex fly rod that has to have the prettiest action you could ever want. Casts like a dream. These newer ones sound really nice.
