Had a great 4 hours at Normandy today. Landed 130 trout….129 like the small one and one 19 inch brood trout. Used TenRyu Rayz Spectra 6’ 1” Lite Lite rod spooled with 5.6# test Varivas Infinity PE X8 line and a 5 foot section of Leland’s Lures Phantom FC leader 2# test. Water was a little fast for me to fish the Trout Magnet the way I like so used a Forest MIU Abalone colored 4.5 gram spoon single hook. Sooner or later they will turn the flow down and will be able to use the Trout Magnet and some SUL…XUL and, XXUL rods. To say today was a fun day is an understatement.
