Nice suprise

I had been wanting the 6'3" Diplomat Extreme with the Torzite micro guide system ever since Alfahawk started talking about how much he liked the 6'2" version. Ten days ago I preordered one from JDM Tackle Heaven so I would stop looking every other day to see if it was in stock. I hoped I would have it sometime next month. I went out on the front porch this morning and there it was. I was surprised because I thought I would get a notification when it was shipped. Rod was packaged really well, probably took ten minutes to unwrap because I didn't want to break it and I might have been shaking a little. It weighs nothing and the top four guides are interesting. I think it's worthy to be matched up with one of my Stella spinning reels. It's cold and rainy here but it well be taking my next trip out with me to test.

Those guides do look interesting. I think ABU has become a new player in this JDM game.

The top four guides are oval, I can't wait to cast it. Going to pull several reels off some other rods to see what feels the best with it. Haven't even put a bend in it yet.
