I'll go off on an apparent tangent here that I think is quite relevant: once you pick up a 10-11' long rod that weighs less than 7 ounces, is sharp as a tack, and can lift up over 10 lbs in dead weight while bending into half-circle and not making a peep, you will probably never turn away from high end Japanese tackle.
