It should, SOS 2# is the same diameter as 4# P-line CXX-tra strong @ .006” . The Original P-Line in 4# is .005” diameter.
P-Line is made in Japan
P-Line has become my go to line in all weights

I’ve landed big fish with the Varivas and if I’m going to use a nylon line that is what I’ll use.

I don’t think at those depths the Infinity line will cause you any problems with a 1/64.

I tried the Gamma years ago….at that time I did not know as much about lines as I do now. But…it was slightly stronger than SOS. I did not use it long and went back to SOS. I used SOS for years until I got into JDM lines. If I wanted to use a 4 pound test line I would get the 4# Twitch Master. In my opinion it is a much better line than SOS. Of course it costs quite a bit more but I find it to be worth it. I know you need the 4# to pull those fish out of the wood you fish. I think you will find the Twitch Master to aid you in doing that due to its low stretch. SOS…and Gamma to the best my memory serves me has a lot of stretch.

I looked up the twitch master and yes that might be the ticket but that infinity line looks very good also. The dia. Is only .074 mm. that is incredibly small. I guess I’m going to have to spend some more money����

Does the JDM stores normally run a after Christmas sale ?

also do they restock at a certain time or is just whenever. I’m wanting another ultralight Rod

I know I’m going to get a lot of different opinions but that’s why I’m asking this questions.

I want to buy a 6’ 6” +/- ultralight or ajing Rod for gills & crappie. Our biggest crappie down here is maybe 14” the average is 10”. Would like to use it for casting a 1/64 jig and float/ fly set up. I would like to stay between $150 to $225 if possible. I just bought a Major Craft Crostage for $80 and is a very nice Rod. Like Randy said you get alot of Rod for your money with Major Craft.
