A sub-forum is better than the three (previously) sticky threads since it will give far greater granularity to the subjects - thinks dozens of subjects instead of just three. This makes it easier for new members or passers by to find the needed info, instead of wading through a single posts of a 100+ posts.
I like it like it is, but whatever, either is fine whit me.
Till y'all made reference to the 3 stickies I didn't know they existed. Yall keep teaching. Someday I may move to the fancy side of fishing.

I’m for a separate JDM forum. One of the main reasons I come here is check on JDM equipment and people’s reviews. Besides, Crappie.com is the only site that I can find that has a specific section to discusses ultralight JDM gear. That should mean sumthin’.
It’s getting tough navigating the ultra long threads. This would make it more user friendly.

I’m in.
I’ll stick around if this comes to fruition.
We need a place to discuss JDM gear without haters getting their jimmies rustled because we prefer to fish with JDM rods instead of Loomis, St Croix, etc., or custom rods. None of us (except 1 USA vendor/sponsor) have any pecuniary interest in the topic. I've had to put a guy on ignore in this forum because of his bellicose attitude toward JDM gear.
Yes. If you're going to get rid of the stickies because they got too big, the only logical option is to create a place where this won't happen again. A subforum will allow for individual threads which won't grow to hundreds of pages. Right now a "Part 2" rod thread was started. It's only a matter of time until it grows to 100+ pages again.
