I tried the 1# test ester and used it only about 2 times...it was clear and I could hardly see to tie it. I used it and caught some 7 inch bluegill. I must say it was fun...but really stressful....LOL. What specie are you using it on and what is largest fish you’ve landed with it?Quote:

I use it on a very shallow, very slow creek for sunfish, bluegill, and largemouth. The creek is no more than a foot deep on average, and any jig head over 0.5-0.6 g is just too heavy and gets snagged immediately. The fish are very small, the biggest catch was an 8 inch largemouth. I think this 1 lb ester can handle quite a bit more than that. I have yet to be concerned about my line breaking on a fish there. In fact, I stopped using fluorocarbon leaders and started tying directly to the ester. Regardless of the catch, this line on the Finesse makes for a lot of fun. I'll be testing it on stocker trout come late fall.Quote:

All are readily available and have exceptionally sharp hooks. The Bobby Garland is not considered JDM but has a nice hook for the cost. I really like the Tict, the one with the Gold hook as it performed well for me on a Waximus plastic bait this past weekend. It has a larger barb.

?Here is the TM on some of the various heads, not fond of the Ecogear but the head does impart a side to side action itself when reeled and the hook is indeed sharp. The Decoy has a sharp plastic keeper that rips the bait really bad, I use super glue on it usually.

?I think Yodie may have a line review coming, and these are things that go on the end of that so take a look at the specs and try some of the ones shown here. I keep all of these ready in the box with a couple extra sizes as well and will re order any of them when needed. I'd recommend checking out Daiwa Gekkabijin TG jig heads. Amazing tungsten heads. I've used 3 g/ 4 hook and 1 g/ 10 hook and now have about ten packs of each to make sure I don't run out. Cast and bottom sensitivity are incredible. Same fantastic Daiwa SS hooks.
I have looked at those Tungsten heads as well but can never find them in stock. Good looking jig head as well, and that hook is sharp.Quote:
